Intensive
What is Intensive Therapy?
Intensive therapy is an accelerated form of treatment designed to help you make meaningful, concentrated progress in days or weeks rather than months or years. Instead of traditional 50-minute weekly sessions, intensive therapy condenses multiple hours or days of evidence-based care into immersive blocks. This focused approach reduces the time spent catching up each week, minimizes long-term disruptions to your routine, and allows you to dive deeply into underlying issues like trauma, severe anxiety, or major life transitions.
How much does it cost?
5-Day - $3,000
4-Day - $2,400
3-Day - $1,800
2-Day - $1,200
When can we schedule an appointment?
I have appointments available Monday through friday from 9AM-12PM EST. If other accommodations are needed, they can be discussed.
Where do we meet?
We have a few options on how we can meet:
In-Person: You can meet me in person at 90 N Richhill Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370. If the weather is nice, we can schedule a walking session to move your body while you process.
Online: All online Intensive sessions are conducted via Zoom.
Are intensives covered by insurance?
Insurance typically does not cover extended, multi-hour intensive sessions directly. However, we can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your provider and plan.
Won't multi-hour therapy sessions feel exhausting?
Extended therapy is focused, but we build in structured breaks, movement, and grounding exercises to keep your nervous system regulated and avoid burnout. Most clients report feeling energized by the clarity they achieve.
Do I have to stop seeing my regular weekly therapist?
Not at all. Intensives can work alongside existing therapy. We are happy to collaborate with your current therapist to focus on a specific target (like processing a trauma) so you can return to them with fresh momentum.
